IMAGINE Research Program
The IMAGINE Research Program is a large-scale genomic research initiative led by the HGSC, in partnership with Baylor Medicine, designed to elucidate genetic contributions to human disease and translate those insights into evidence-informed precision medicine. By enrolling a diverse cohort of tens of thousands of Baylor Medicine patients and integrating high-resolution genomic data with clinical phenotypes, IMAGINE aims to advance the scientific understanding of how genetic variation influences disease risk, progression, and treatment response while laying the groundwork for novel predictive and therapeutic strategies. This program generates foundational knowledge to support future clinical recommendations and discovery science across complex human traits and conditions while enabling genetic informed care for conditions with established guidelines through return of results.
